Thanks for reporting, but according to [1], pptpconfig is deprecated,
and thus is probably not suitable for inclusion. For requesting new
packages in Ubuntu, please follow the procedure listed at [2] in the
future.

i second that, the pptp part of network manager is useless in some
universities(take Bremen for an example)
where the students can't connect to the universities pptp-server with
networkmanager-pptp,
while they can connect with pptpconfig. What's going on there guys, why does
