Short : yes
Long : I reinstalled Hardy from the current beta-cd's, and when the *-de
(german) packages from KDE installed, the deformation is back again -
IF you are searching for "verb". I can not spot it, if i scroll through the
software - without the search.

Hi.
I found it. After removing : "language-pack-kde-de" and
"language-pack-kde-de-base" the listview is back in it's normal shape.
Reinstalling these packages brings the deformation back again.
After some crawling through the sourcecode i found one odd thing : in
the file

That looks like a bug in the extracted data somewhere. I can not
reproduce the problem here unfortunately, could you please check if you
still see it with the latest hardy updates and let me know what locale
you use and if you had to do anything special to trigger it?

subscribed mvo (gnome-app-install-maintainer) ... can we crop such long
entries somehow ?
