Sorry I cant test it. I have upgraded to Ubuntu Jaunty and I have a ATI
graphiccard. At this time I have not a working amd driver with 3D
acceleration.

Default wind doesnt support bitmap cursors.

I found this while installing and trying to play C&C3, but i went to the
winehq page and it gave me the solution.

The Cursor hides, when the wine window has the focus. When they lost the
focus (e.g. alt+space), the cursor is visible. Empire at War loads a own
(non animated) cursor, wich is Visible.
Wich further Informations are needed for Fixing?

In my case, the mouse is invisible all the time (menus, ingame,
videos...). Only on the borders of the screen I can see it. And it
doesn't matter what settings I use in winecfg or if fullscreen or not.
After exiting it's complete normal again. Tried to see what happens when

Well, seems like an upstream bug then. We'll need to get more specifics
though. What do you mean by "cursor hidden" - is the cursor hidden
within the game, after exiting, or after alt-tabbing? Did you set
winecfg to allow the window manager to manage created windows?

Other possibility is you installed winehq package and then upgraded to
Hardy - 0.9.57 isn't yet in hardy to replace that. That should happen
within a few days though. Please retest then :)

Are you sure about the version? AFAIK wine in hardy is 0.9.56. If you're
really running 0.9.57 this is a bug in winehq-package, not in the ubuntu
one.
