I can confirm that the above solution work for me as well.
(Though I first tried to copy it to /usr/lib/firefox-addons/plugins/,
which made the Adobe flash work. But to no avail...)

cd /usr/lib/xulrunner-addons/plugins/
ln -s /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/libjavaplugin.so . <–note the “dot”
