thanks for you reply..
I didnt had time to and also need to work in my office i removed ubuntu and
installed xubuntu and its working fine .. since i didnt have any back up i dont
have logs.

Thanks for the bug report. However, to be able to work on this issue, some more
information is needed.
Could you therefore please add the following files as attachment:
- /var/log/message,
- /var/log/syslog,
- /var/log/ Xorg.0.log and
- /var/log/gdm/:0.log
