That is not a version found in the Ubuntu archive. It appears to be from
a 3rd party PPA, and as such the problem is theirs to solve.

Yes, it is 22.04. Everything was perfect before the update. But I took
no chances and did a system back-up using Aptik. Did the update, Digikam
was REMOVED from the system, I have no idea why this occurred. Tried to
re-install via synaptic and got the same result as with apt-get install!

Assuming this is 22.04, I have no problem installing digikam on system
with all available updates applied.
