With default settings (I removed whole ~/.mozilla and then started
firefox) the page looks as on the screenshot in first post -
incorrectly.

I have seen this problem also in epiphany (try www.kolej.mff.cuni.cz - I
should probably submit bug for epiphany). And this page works correctly
in epiphany and looks strange in firefox. It looks ok in firefox, when I
uncheck "Allow webpages to choose their own colors" in preferences (I
