I confirm I got an upgrade of the nvidia driver today, and it broke
after rebooting.

It just happened to me today on 22.04 and the 510 driver (after an
automatic upgrade?).
No way to boot my computer, even in recovery mode I got this issue...
I'm currently running from a live USB to write this post.
