Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. However, I am closing it because the bug has been fixed
in the latest development version of Ubuntu - Natty Narwhal. It won't be
fixed in previous versions of Ubuntu because the package doesn't fit the
requirements

libgnomeprint15 was removed from the archive sometime in-between gutsy
and hardy. On all versions, abiword depends on libgnomeprint2.2. I
believe adding libgnomeprint15 as a dependency is the quickest
resolution with the least amount of disruptive changes to the archive.

Although you reported this bug a while back, there is a workaround given
that seems to work.
Since this bug has enough information provided for a developer to begin

At the moment I've shifted over to another ubuntu gutsy desktop for my main
development machine. It had libgnomeprint15 on it.
Abiword successfully prints multiple times to the printer from this desktop w/
libgnomeprint15 on it.
I don't know if an interim update to some other package is affectin
I installed libgnomeprint15 on the client where is Abiword.
I don't think it's a server issue.
You can run abiword in command-line mode for checking its logs report.
