the issue is not a xdg-user-dirs, there is already a bug open on
nautilus on improving the ui there, once that is change the default
directory could be changed but no need of an extra bug there

Templates folder should b
There could be many possible ways to do that. There could be an "add
template..." item at the end of the list, or there could be some
selection dialog like for the wallpaper somewhere. I still think this is
something most users don't expect/want in their home directory...
