Sorry about the previous comments. It seems the desktop file is fine,
but this is still broken in Lucid. I don't what is causing it to reset,
but it does turn off sticky keys after a few minutes idle (5 or less).
The screensaver has not activated, so it is not involved. There are no
errors in ~/.xs

In attempting to reproduce this bug in both Xubuntu 9.04 and Xubuntu
Lucid Lynx, I am able to select sticky keys from Applications ->
Settings -> Accessibility. Unfortunately, it fails to work. Looking at
the .desktop file in /usr/share/applications/ for Accessibility, the
exec file should be xfce4

Just to bring to your notice, this bug is _almost_ identical to Bug
#153518, but that's in Gnome. I figured out a workaround to solve the
issue (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/at-
spi/+bug/153518/comments/25). I hope that helps in narrowing down what
the issue is in Xfce / Gnome.

The task in "triaged" state was the "xfce-mcs-plugins" one.
I marked the OTHER task, "xfce4-settings", AS it was previously, that is
"New".
It was "New", then "Incomplete" waiting for news, then Ankur reported it's
still present in Jaunty and the
Sergio Zanchetta: Would you mind checking previous status before
changing these. This bug was triaged, the developer worked it, and asked
if it was still valid in Jaunty 9.04. If it is still valid, the status
should be left for that developer or changed back to "triaged". Thanks.

I checked the ~/.xsession-errors file but I couldn't find any
information related to this particular problem, as far as I can make
out, that is. Nevertheless, I'm attaching the ~/.xsession-errors file
from my system after the error (Sticky Keys getting deactivated)
occurred. Maybe that'll help some
Could you have a look at ~/.xsession-errors when the bug appears? The file
might contain informations about when happened.
