Hi,
I have the very similar (maybe the same?) problem. When I only do a double
click or single click, no matter left or right, on any icon at the Desktop,
Nautilus restarts and opens a window showing my homedir content. Then if I try
to open any directory from my homedir, Nautilus does the same
Doing a dnd from a panel launcher to the desktop work correctly on my
configuration
