Are you still experiencing crashes with an updated system? Can you
switch to a virtual terminal with Ctrl + Alt + F1? Please attach lshw
output ("lshw > lshw.txt" will produce it) and your /etc/X11/xorg.conf
file.

I still continue to get this bug also with all the latest aMule/gnome updates.
I recognized that only X freezes, because i can use the magic keys; but i don't
know exactly what to do to debug/check the problem.
Could anybody PLEASE give an hand on this?

i found some info for debugging a system freeze, here are some system log
files; i grepped the lines with the date of today for each one, because today i
had the bug; i hope will be helpful.
For other info just ask.

Hi,
sorry for the long time.
I made a memtest on my machine (4> passes) and no problems...
I think the problem is due to GNOME, drivers, or something because aMule can't
freeze the system (runs as normal user...) itself.
If i don't mistake this is a bug that came from a previous update of GNOME, s
