Real Player works fine on Hardy Alpha up through 1 February 2008, so
Hardy Alpha 3 is fine.
Hardy Alpha 4 broke it.
If it is a video driver issue, it is an issue only when running Hardy
Alpha 4, not an issue when running Hardy Alpha 3. The last thing to
change was Hardy. Maybe ubuntu developers
