OK. The above fix works (don't forget to add "sudo" before each command). But surely the purge (or a similar fix) should be in the auto-update, otherwise it will screw a lot of people over who don't know how to sort out such things? -- Youtube stopped working, after 12.1 update was installed. h

Same here. It might work if you run: dpkg -r flashplugin-nonfree dpkg --purge flashplugin-nonfree apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree But however: The new version doesn't work with konqueror, which is painfull to all of the KDE users who perfer to use konqueror instead of firefox. /Morten --
