I haven't been able to reproduce this with hardy 4. You may have a
system problem if both printers aren't working.

Confirmed with LaserJet 1020 using A4 paper prints extra sheet. Fix
committed in the next release of HPLIP.

There is a known problem with HPLIP 2.7.12 when printing to some
LaserJet's and using A4 size paper an extra sheet is being printed.
This will be fixed in the next release of HPLIP. Sorry about that I
can't say for sure why we didn't catch that earlier.
However this would not effect your Brother
The installation is a fresh installation from CD (alpha 3).
Maybe the problem is not present with a Hardy system upgraded from gutsy ...?
