Note: landscape (with panel) & portrait monitors
- logout & login and issue still OCCURS
- installed `xfwm4` & switched to that
- logout & login & so now using `xfwm4` & issue

I switched the panel to show on the other display (right click on panel,
configure panel & make it show on "Bottom of desktop 2" (ie. other
desktop) and NOTHING changed.
Closed the [configure panel] window, re-opened it repeating process,
(right-click on pane, configure panel & make it show on "Bo
the main menu also opens on wrong physical display (screen position is
only slightly left of the panel as shown on the screen_main-menu.jpg) -
again this behavior has been noted before in bug reports but usually on
landscape+portrait setup displays (this is 2xlandscape).
