We need to maintain a unified look of the yaru icon theme, by using modified
icon guidelines of Suru.

Stuart, I counted about 80 app icons at Gnome desktop in my Ubuntu. This
is not fresh install. But only 1 icon with grey background and this is
Files. So it looks absolutely out-of-place. Maybe it could be a good
idea if all icons had the same squircle style. But now all other icons

To explain how we ended up with the current icon... in Suru, there were
basically two types of app icon: an object on a squircle, or a squircle-
shaped object.

Carlo, if it is grey plate it doesn't have the sense too) The grey plate
or grey background you can't logically explain it. Why folder lays on
the plate? Maybe some people put folders on the plate in offices?)
But it confuses a lot because all icons don't have plates or grey
background. Why Files
I understand the preference and I have already reported it to our icon
designer :), but I had the impression, initially, that the ticket was
about a unexpected background that didn't belong to the icon, this is

plate and enlarge the icon to be the same dimensions as the plate was,

This is the symbolic icon, it is always the same either in light or dark
theme. The symbolic icon is a simplified version of the full color one,
so some details are removed
