I have news: I can connect to my 5 GHZ network now. I am not sure why though.
(1) I changed the 5GHZ channel
(2) I changed the frequency band from 80mhz to 40mhz
(3) Maybe the last driver update from March did something?

I checked some WiFi info via the Android phone. Of the 5 5G networks
shown there, only two show up on the laptop.
The ones that do show up are on channels 48-42 (5240 MHz) and 36-42
(5180 MHz).
The ones that do not show up are on channels 100-106 (5500 MHz), 140-138
(5700 MHz) and 140-138 (5700 M
