I checked this on the three HW systems I had around, none showed this behavior.
So for your upstream report (and here) it might be very helpful to outline as
exactly as possible which HW you use in this case.

this seems to need an upstream report as it seems to need a fix there.
Before doing so it is usually wise to check the latest upstream release.
That would currently be 3.6
