I've just verified with maybe 0.4.0-6 on Ubuntu Groovy, and that version does indeed have an explicit dependency on python3-pkg-resources as mentioned in the Debian bug report. I'm therefore marking this fixed. If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please take a look at the
