Tried again with Ubuntu 18.04 upgraded the kernal to
5.5.0-050500-generic still having problems, also tried the following
drivers

As per the link from this page

I just tried Linux 5.5.2-1 on Manjaro. Squeaky sound is still there. The
sound is fine on Windows 10

Today I've tested a little bit with that kernel v5.5-rc5 and the creepy
sound seems to be disappeared. I will continue testing a little bit
more, but finally sound seems to work flawlessly.

Yes, still present. I got the same problem with Kubuntu 19.10 up to
date. Sound is creepy sometimes via HDMI with Hades Intel NUC.
