Ubuntu currently doesn't have a dedicated network-manager maintainer,
you might have more luck reporting issue directly upstream on

Here's the syslog, starting at the point where I have a connection to a
local wifi, and then I have a failed switch to the other local wifi. (I
am sending this after capturing the log, and restarting the network-
manager service.)

I do not really see in the log snippets where the Wi-Fi does not
actually work, or which step of the Wi-Fi connection attempt fails.
Perhaps the relevant part is not included.

Can you tell where in the log Wi-Fi is failing? I see only a lot of
errors of GNOME shell, not of Wi-Fi.
