I don't think it makes a lot of sense to keep these old bug reports
around then. Backporting fixes to 2.4 is certainly not something I
intend to spend my time on :-)

Ubuntu disco 19.04 does have 2.6.1, but that doesn't change the fact
that the LTS version of ubuntu has 2.4. It's not likely to be updated,
outside of patches to fix issues as they come up (like this).

As far as Mnemosyne's development is concerned, as mentioned before,
please report bugs against the latest released version, 2.6.1 currently.
2.4 is really ancient, and Ubuntu should update its version.
