Hi,
ok, seems to be my mistake. As per README
The Nic (Intel(R) 82566MM Gigabit Network Connection) in my laptop does not
support jumbo frames.
Maybe i give the old XP on my partition a chance to boot up once more
and check if there is an option for th jumbo frames.

i'm using ubuntu 8.04 (32Bit) and there are no problem to change the size of
the packages to 9000
i have an INTEL PRO/1000GT

tried the latest version, but also getting :

SIOCSIFMTU: Invalid argument
