Hi, ok, seems to be my mistake. As per README The Nic (Intel(R) 82566MM Gigabit Network Connection) in my laptop does not support jumbo frames. Maybe i give the old XP on my partition a chance to boot up once more and check if there is an option for th jumbo frames. THX -- jumbo frames on a in
