According to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/HardyReleaseSchedule , automatic
debian sync is over since december 13th but we still can merge/upgrade
that package before February 14th ( the FeatureFreeze ). I suggest to do
so when the 2.2.3 release will be ready. Once it's ready, I can build
the new package
I wonder, what is the time frame for such a sync? If Ubuntu Hardy
updates to 2.2.2, it should either apply the patch
http://svn.gnucash.org/trac/changeset/16766?format=diff&new=16766 to fix
a serious bug concerning scheduled transactions or use GnuCash 2.2.3
which should be released within 14 days
Thanks for the confirmation =) I'm not sure if I used the good term, but
thank you for the upgrade tag that I forgot to add to this bug report!
The only people that has the power to upload to universe ubuntu
repositories are the MOTU. We just need to wait for a gnucash packager

Saïvann : No, i didn't "sync" the package :-(
I thought that "sync" meant "sync the content of the debian dir betwenn Debian
and Ubuntu".
Hence the diff I made.
By the way, I don't think I can upload something into Ubuntu repositories.

Fred : Thanks for your participation. I believe that you didn't sync the
gnucash package, did you? By sync I mean that you took the package from
debian and uploaded it to ubuntu repositories.

I synced the debian packages with Hardy's one.
The sync is fairly simple.
Here is a diff between the two debian dirs.
Hope it helps :-)
PS : In control file, I moved the "Recommends" line to minimize the diff with
the debian package)
