Bluetooth in Ubuntu 16.04, but now fails to connect in Ubuntu 18.04.

Thanks @Joseph, this issue started happening after an upgrade 16.04 ->
18.04 via CLI. Prior to upgrade I was on the latest 16.04 kernel as I
had applied automatic updates constantly and restarted recently. Sorry,
as I don't recall the kernel version.

Did this issue start happening after an update/upgrade? Was there a
prior kernel version where you were not having this particular problem?
Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer
to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelMainlineBuilds . Please test the latest
v4.18 kernel[
