Kivy has no desktop launcher

Kivy is an application development framework for Python, not an
application. Does that require a launcher? I don't see what would be the
expected result of starting it.
It's like asking for a desktop launcher for "QT" or "GTK".
Please clarify :).

I can confirm that kivy 1.9.1-1build3 on Ubuntu 18.04 (or cosmic) is
lacking a desktop launcher. It would presumably need a desktop file
