I can confirm this is still an issue in Ubuntu 24.04.
Thanks @jkavery for the gnome extension! The extension description is where I
found the way to this bug report.
Nonetheless, it would be great to have a permanent fix for the bug. This
continues to be a nuisance to click "save" or "restore" w

While on the Xorg session things seem to be mostly correct on Wayland
after resume from suspend several things are broken:
1) The session resumes on the 4th virtual desktop independently on where i
