Saying this issue is fixed by beeing able to cancel a running fsck is like
saying running out of gas while driving a car is ok because you can always push
the car...
Of course beeing able to cancel the fsck makes it somehow bearable, but the

I should say in Hardy you will be able to press escape to cancel a fsck.
In gutsy, you can press Ctrl+C which I do NOT recommend, as it could
DAMAGE your filesystem. There is also a file you can edit to cancel

The fix for this bug depends on AutoFsck being packaged (Bug #151446)
and implemented into the current system.
