I end up unplugging and replugging in my Logitech Marble Mouse every 5
minutes because although the cursor continue to move I am unable to
click on anything. I also lose my ability to ALT/TAB between screens or
use ALT F or other ALT functions when the mouse is plugged in. It allows

Man... launchpad search sucks!
Apologies for the third post on this issue, but I run into this every 10 mins
on so on intrepid + logitech marble mouse. I use the exact same setup at work
with Hardy and things are fine.
And the moment I ran a lsusb -v my mouse is dead with dmesg messages:

I have a same error with Logitech RX100 in Hardy.
But no problem in Intrepid.

Thanks Pascal, but my mouse doesn't stop working altogether. It is as if
the mouse has been unplugged and replugged instantly. Basically it
redetects the mouse and sets it up as a new interface. These messages
happen instantaneously in dmesg:

I've tested the mouse with my Windows and does not work corrently either.
So, I think the mouse is simply defective.
To my knowledge it is unlikely that Ubuntu/Linux has caused this defect,
so please ignore my post above :-)
