Sorry, but this is still not fixed in Ubuntu. It needs to be pushed as a
freeze exception to make it into Ubuntu 18.04. I don't yet have any
experience with doing freeze exceptions, but I will try to take a look
at it when I have some free time.

This issue was fixed in version 2.0 that was recently released so there
are two possible ways how to fix this in Ubuntu: 1. Use the version 2.0
(as freeze exception) after it will be available in Debian.; 2. Try to
fix the current Ubuntu version using the original fix from GitHub.
