video-intel_2.3.1-1ubuntu1~bwh3_amd64.deb) of a newer -intel driver for
Hardy.
There's been improvements made to i830_free_memory() in 2.3.1 which I
suspect may have resolved this issue. If not, please feel free to re-
open with a new backtrace.

>From what I understand of the backtrace, something in i830_free_memory()
is causing a segmentation fault. I'm not sure which version of -intel
was installed, but looking at the code for 2.2.0, there is a new chunk
of code in an XF86DRI_MM ifdef which I wonder might be involved. This
should be for
