I can't see this issue in Intrepid's dolphin. (Comes with KDE 4.0.83)
Resolving fixed, if it's not fixed in Kubuntu Intrepid (8.10), please reopen.

I hope these pictures give u an idea of what is happening, sometimes the
icon isn't there at all and there is a blank space in between. This
doesn't happen in konqueror though.

Hi, I am using KDE 3.5.8. Its the folder icons that r not drawn
completely. I will attach a screen shot as soon it occurs again. Some
folder icons r missing and there is an empty space between them so when
I move my cursor over there they appear at once. Some half of the icon
