Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. I'm guessing that you have your laptop setup to
hibernate when you close the lid is that correct? If so what happens
when you try to hibernate using 'System -> Quit' and then choose
'Hibernate'? Thanks in advance
