I've managed to boil this down to a simple test case by installing virt-
viewer and nvidia-libopencl1-304 on an Ubuntu 17.04 desktop system the
upgrade will fail to be calculable.

I used `apt purge gstreamer*` after which the `do-release-upgrade` seems
to be working.
