This bug is no longer an issue in 8.10 or 8.04.1. I use dual monitors
with nvidia binary driver version 177. I am attaching a screenshot as
proof and marking this bug Fix Released.

I can confirm this on Ubuntu Feisty 7.04 with a standard 2 monitor
setup. Only the leftmost monitor makes it into the final screenshot. I'm
using the proprietary NVIDIA drivers version 100.14.11 on a GeForce 8600
GTS.

I'm not experiencing this bug any more with my current ubuntu feisty
installation. But then again, I changed my graphics card from mga550 to
nvidia fx5200 with proprietary drivers since I last tested.
Can someone else confirm either way?

Just to confirm, this is still present in 6.06 LTS (Gnome 2.14.2). I
have added a comment to the upstream bug report. Maybe someone from the
Ubuntu team feels like patching with code from the GIMP? ;-)
