@Daniel, fair. But this is just the newer API (as far as I can tell)
for an existing GNOME DBus API we already supported. And it's not just
GNOME session tools; other legacy apps might call those APIs.

I would rather we didn't bake in too many copies of Gnome functionality.
IMHO it's OK for Gnome session tools to not work under Unity8. In the
future they possibly won't be there at all.
