ltinkl confirmed that QT_QPA_PLATFORM for Qt5
so with the current state of things, it would be ideal for u-a-l not to remove
this env var - and it won't effect Qt4 apps.

I'd actually like to see less environment provided by unity8-desktop-
session itself in this case, and more by UAL.
So QT_QPA_PLATFORM=ubuntumirclient would only be there *if* UAL knew it
was correct to be there, without the unity8 session assuming that.
