I managed to fix it (or so it appears) by opening gnumeric and going to Tools->Plug-ins and clicking on "Activate All". Do we know why this is happening? Is there a way to fix the gnumeric packages to avoid this? I guess we can close this bug, but I don't see a way to mark it "Work Around" or so
