I tried again with kpdf and I still get a blank page.
I am on Kubuntu Gutsy.

So for me kpdf is displays this document, I attached a screenshot of
kpdf displaying this, and would like to know if the rendering is
correct.
Please tell us also which, version of Ubuntu you are using and the exact
package version (i.e. with the command "dpkg -l kpdf)
