My issue seems to have resolved. I have had no further issues with Adept.
Have you reported your issue to launchpad? No English problem.

I get this error using Adept too. It happens when I download a package.
It downloads, but when it's installing (24% more or less), I get a
message that says that the package was corrupt or not downloaded at all.
Right now, I turn on the computer and get this message opening Adept:

I am using Kubuntu version 7.10, Gutsy Gibbons. I updated my system
this morning as usual using Adept, but the red triangluar symbol
remained after the update. I touched on it again after closing Adept
and it said that I had one file to update. So I reopened Adept and
when it "fetched" the files
