I tested the 2.7.1-2~fakesync1.1 package from proposed and I confirm the
missing file is now included and I can successfully load sessions.

Hello Michael, or anyone else affected,
Accepted ltt-control into xenial-proposed. The package will build now
and be available at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ltt-
control/2.7.1-2~fakesync1.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed
repository.
Please help us by testing this new package.
