never use repos from another version... I should have run update-manager
-d.

I'm closing this as I can't reproduce this in my Hardy installation (and
it is likely to be caused by the fact that you changed your sources list
without doing a full upgrade). Thanks for taking the time to report the
issue, nevertheless.

Same problem here! I am using Gutsy with Gutsy reps, but these were
manually changed back to Gutsy after having used Hardy for a while
(since I did that, a few parts of the system has been performing
poorly).
