Thanks for the suggestion, I don't have a very good internet connection
now, however I'll try this in at most one week and try to report back to
here and hope to say that the bug is solved. Thanks for suggestion. Also
I can't wait to have the stable version of the hardy on my laptop :)

I have reported the bug for gutsy. And now I have still the upgraded
version of gutsy installed on my laptop. I can't risk a format and new
installation nowadays since my school is open, however if there is an
oppurtunaty to upgrade (like I did in feisty -> gutsy) I would gladly do
it and repo

You could test the latest version using the Live CD (without risks ;-) )
The download site for Hardy Heron Alpha-4 is:

Ubuntu better. I'm using Hardy Heron up to date and I followed the steps
described above. I cannot reproduce this problem. Would you test it
again using the last version of Hardy?
