Confirming that I stumbled into this collapsing menu bug after updating
a machine from 14.04 to 16.04 yesterday.

Note that the FTBFS is not present in the 16.04 version (depends on a
newer version of dpkg aiui). So the previously provided patch for
icinga_1.13.3-2ubuntu0.1 should be suitable for SRU still.

Just a quick FYI that Debian Sid also shows the same issue. Xenial &
Yakkety have the same version of icinga (1.13.3-2).
Can you also report this bug to Debian.

You can manually fix it in the html code (element browser from firefox).
Delete "display: none;" in every css-style for "menu.html". After a
webpage reload the problem still exist again.
