Last time I used Evo I think I accidentally opened Evo (clicked wrong
icon) and then cancelled the account setup and whatnot. I removed the
~/.evolution folder and ~/.gconf/apps/evolution folder. Error's still
there. Then I tried using the root account (which had never run
Evolution before) to run
this really looks more related to cairo than Evo... before I set it
upstream: can you please attach here the output of ~/.xsession-errors.
Also, do you remember what you were doing when you last used Evo?

Okay, I've installed libcairo2-dbgsym and gotten different output. I'll
try getting dbgsyms for librsvg-2 next.

Yes indeed, you can use either the *-dbg or the *-dbgsym packages. But
you will need -- at least, if the SIG is in Evolution itself -- the
evolution-data-server debug packages.
The backtrace you provided does not show any Evolution functions in the
offending thread, in fact, *no* debug data at all
I'm using Ubuntu Gutsy, and Evolution 2.12.1-0ubuntu1 from the gutsy-
proposed repository. I've tried using the one from the main repository
but the error is still there.
Also, aren't evolution-dbg and evolution-dbgsym the same thing?
