that may have been what I did
I think I purged the entire system , upgraded then reinstalled all pre-
installed packages
will see if Ubuntu 16.10 causes any upgrade prob

PPA contains package version numbers greater than the release t
I tried upgrading after restoring the apt-clone file included in your
bug report and was unable to recreate the upgrade failure. If you
haven't already could you try upgrading again? Thanks in advance.
