You know, I've found some fix to this on the ubuntuforums.org:

Include theese lines to your /etc/modules and reboot! You would notice
the difference very quickly :)

We may need some info on the hardware of your laptop
should a lshw be enoguh?
on the terminal do:
sudo lshw
sudo lshal
and paste/upload the results here.
With that we might bre able to see if it's something that is common in
this kind (or any similar) chipset.
