Trinh Phuoc Thai's workaround worked for me on Kubuntu Gutsy, but I only have 3 printers which needed. This is not suitable for installations with large numbers of printers. I can't believe SUN let this bug stand for so long. Actually, I can. Proprietary products have this kind of track record.
